She's lived there with her grandmother for most of her life, after the death of her parents at a young age. She moved to New York to attend college, and has been here ever since.

Personality:
Man, she's a real feisty one.

Most people would think so, and Elizabeta herself is exceptionally proud of the fact. She spent most of her childhood under the assumption that she was a boy, just a late-blooming one, on account of the lack of a penis and all. Inherently a tomboy, she has no qualms about getting down and dirty, whether it's to personally bring in the new stock of pastry sheets for the kitchen, or pulling out errant weeds in the flowerbeds.

However, she also has her feminine side, initially forcefully cultivated by a grandmother who was horrified by the fact that her little granddaughter hadn't been kidding for the past eleven years about thinking that she was a boy. Her femininity has found a place in Elizabeta's life as well, as she grew into her dresses and long hair. Even so, she doesn't believe in keeping mum about things "as a lady should", so said her grandmother. She'll tell you what she thinks, sometimes a tad to bluntly.

Elizabeta also has a great soft spot for kids. The ones who get dragged into the museums by their parents always seem a little irritated and sleepy, so she makes it a point to keep a stash of lolipops just for them.

Looks and Appearance:
Most days, she wears the regulation uniform for Sbocciavano le rose, a white blouse with a tied green ribbon, black vest and skirt, and a white apron. However, when a historical re-enactment is due to take place, she likes to play around a bit by wearing an old-fashioned maid/serving girl's green dress and white bandana, encouraging the rest of the cafe's staff to do the same.

Also, she's never seen without flowers of some kind in her hair. Elizabeta especially favours yellow or orange ones.

Job:
Chef (and waitress, if there's a need) at Sbocciavano le rose, and self-declared gardener.

Job History:
Truth be told, she's never had formal culinary training, only what had been taught to her by her grandmother. But Elizabeta had been hanging around the museum throughout her college days, gaping at the beauty of the place before an old lady at the cafe took pity on her and decided to teach her the house specialities so that she could retire earlier.

The managers of the museum made dissatisfied noises at her blatant lack of a resume initially (what on earth would a degree in linguistics do in the kitchen?!), but her tiramisu won them over the next instant.

The self-declared caretaker of La galleria d'arte belle's surrounding gardens, she likes taking her breaks to tend to the area (because hired gardeners don't love the place, do they?) and kick bums off benches they were sleeping on.

Other:
Elizabeta honestly loves her job, and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. She's able to hold her liquor pretty well, and can get slightly conflicted when people call her manly.
