It was always the Egyptian artefacts, wasn't it? Gilbert shuddered as he stared at the tablet in front of him. Why is it that he always had to be the one to look over the crazy cursed Egyptian treasures? 'Lovino must plan it this way,' he thought, sifting through his supplies. With a mourning sigh, he set to work. It was easy enough to identify at least and the hieroglyphics on it were oh so helpful in the process, if a little bit sinister.
Yes, it would seem that this particular tablet was very, very cursed. It was part of a tomb, so there were probably ten other non-written curses on this thing that he didn't even know about it. He began to wonder when it would make his eyes explode into a swarm of locusts or whatever else they cursed it with. He wished that he didn't have to do this.
At least it was light. He lifted the tablet up and turned to bring it over to another table, only to crash into his lab partner and drop the priceless artefact on the ground. The cursed priceless artefact. He stared at the tablet, which now had a large crack running through it. "Lovino...don't panic, but....I think we're going to get eaten by locusts."
Right. Shit. No, he was definitely panicking.
