    So... Hi! ;D

You can call me Cass or Cassie if you'd like. I'm seventeen this year, and I live in Singapore, a teensy little dot in the Southeast Asian region, which sadly (usually) means that I'm online during the odd hours for everyone else.

Uh, about me eh. I'm in Junior College, which is this odd two-years of school which prepares you for university. Singapore has the weirdest education, really. I love English, literature, history and linguistics, as well as theatre and sweets. I have a huge sweet tooth, heh.

Nice to meet you all, and hope we can all get along and have fun, yeah? ;D

George Orwell, though I haven't managed to read many of his books. And John Green, who's much more modern than Orwell and works with YA books. What about you?

Edit: Oh, oh, and the person who wrote the "Lady of Shalott" but I can't remember his name right now.

Ohh, I haven't read much of Orwell yet, but I've been wanting to read 1984 since forever aha. Hm, John Green? I haven't seen his works yet, but I'll check it out.

I like Emily Dickinson, and more recently (because my school's literature syllabus introduced me to her), Carol Ann Duffy. I'm a sucker for fantasy and the like, so Neil Gaiman too.

1984 is both confusing and fascinating at the same time; I'm reading it right now. I like Emily Dickinson, and Neil Gaiman is amazing.

And I figured out the guy's name! Alfred Lord Tennyson.

And yes, you should definitely check out John Green's books. I love his work. My personal favorite of him is probably Looking For Alaska.

Definitely check them out. I'm gonna be the odd duck out and say that An Abundance of Katherines is my favorite, though Looking For Alaska is a close second.
